Ornamental Features
Ravenswing Cow Parsley features airy cymes of white flowers at the ends of the stems from late spring to mid summer. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its attractive deeply cut ferny compound leaves remain dark green in color with hints of deep purple throughout the season. The deep purple stems are very colorful and add to the overall interest of the plant.

Ravenswing Cow Parsley is an herbaceous perennial with an upright spreading habit of growth. It brings an extremely fine and delicate texture to the garden composition and should be used to full effect.
This plant will require occasional maintenance and upkeep. Trim off the flower heads after they fade and die to encourage more blooms late into the season. Gardeners should be aware of the following characteristic(s) that may warrant special consideration;

Planting & Growing
Ravenswing Cow Parsley will grow to be about 18 inches tall at maturity extending to 32 inches tall with the flowers, with a spread of 24 inches. It grows at a medium rate, and under ideal conditions can be expected to live for approximately 3 years. As an herbaceous perennial, this plant will usually die back to the crown each winter, and will regrow from the base each spring. Be careful not to disturb the crown in late winter when it may not be readily seen!
This plant does best in full sun to partial shade. It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It is somewhat tolerant of urban pollution. This is a selected variety of a species not originally from North America.
